Marquardt Face Mask
Dr. Stephen Marquardt has studied facial beauty and believes that it is directly associated with Phi. He developed a face mask based on Phi, which conforms to the faces of Johnny Depp, Nefertiti, and Tom Cruise, among others.
Gustav Theodor Fechner
Fechner performed multiple experiments on Phi and aesthetics using rectangles, which leave out color, or other personal preferences. He displayed 9 rectangles to his subjects. 76% of the participants chose the three rectangles closest to Phi as the most aesthetically pleasing, with the Golden Rectangle most common. All other rectangles received less than 10% of the vote each.
However, some suggest Fechner only published results he agreed with and may have performed other tests that showed dislike of shapes including Phi. Other people have conducted tests that suggest similar, and many believe that beauty is not nescessarily connected to Phi.
Another random fact discovered by Fechner is that German playing cards are longer than Golden Rectangles, and French are shorter.

Is there a connection?
Through studying the existence of Phi in nature, art, architecture, music, and the human face, I became interested in the connection between Phi and attraction. My study can be viewed here.
